We encourage you to think carefully about your criteria for choosing your child’s junior school. This is a progression from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. Your child is 7 or 8 years old. They are young pupils who have had 3 years in school. You are asking them to make the transition to a new school with all the ‘newness’ and unfamiliarity that changing schools entails.
